Everything in Life - The Art of Joe Sears Exhibition Opening

Actor Joe Sears, best known for his characters in the Greater Tuna series, will be featured in a one-person show. The works showcase his travels away from the cities where the plays run and instead focus on the countryside and the beaches. The exhibit will feature folk art, watercolor textures and works from the artist’s “windblown” series. The work will be on view through July 1.

Gloria Sanchez, local comedienne and artist, is presenting two one-woman short plays in response to inspirational visual art at the McNay Art Museum. Untitled (or whatever you call it this time) is commissioned by the McNay Art Museum as a response to Sandy Skoglund's photograph Gathering Paradise. Prozac and Cheez Doodles is commissioned by the McNay Art Museum for the exhibitions New Image Sculpture and Sandy Skoglund: The Cocktail Party. The play runs through May 15.

SAY Sí’s Graduating Seniors Present: Continuum Of Concepts

Youth Filmmakers Document Relevant Issues from a Local Perspective
