Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, one of the most popular plays in the canon, receives a breath of fresh air this summer from the Classic Theatre. When Leonato, the Govenor of Messina, invites Don Pedro and his fellow soldiers to stay at his estate for a month; fun becomes fate, deceptions turn to truth, and seemingly lighthearted craftiness leads to an issue of life and death.
The play stars Asia and Anthony Ciaravino as the combatively lovable Beatrice and Benedick, and San Antonio veteran actor Bill Gundry as Leonato, and is directed by Andrew Thornton.
