Fotoseptiembre Exhibit at Bulverde Spring Branch Area Public Library

The work of two local photographers will be on exhibit at the Bulverde Spring Branch Area Public Library for the month of September. Sonja Heldt Harris and Pamela Wessel, in conjunction with FotoseptiembreUSA 2010, will entertain guests and the public at an opening reception on September 11, from 3-6PM. Refreshments will be served and musical entertainment will be provided by the Damas de Jalisco, a mariachara group from San Antonio.

FotoSeptiembreUSA 2010 is an international photography festival held annually in San Antonio and the Hill Country. In keeping with this years theme, Hispanic heritage, Sonja Harris is presenting a selection of period images from her family archives. Pamela Wessel will display a series of colorful composites depicting the female mariachara as part of the Hispanic tradition in south Texas.
