On the Second Friday of each month, all the galleries in the Tobin Hill neighborhood stay open from 6-10 p.m. to exhibit contemporary art works. Patrons enjoy strolling through the neighborhood to socialize, view artwork and listen to local music.
SAC joins Tobin Hill Art Alliance Second Friday Art Walk;
First reception Sept. 10 in Visual Arts Center Gallery
The SAC Visual Arts Center Gallery will host free monthly receptions from 5-8 p.m. Entertainment and musical accompaniment will be provided by students from Theater & Speech Communication and Music departments.
Students will entertain patrons along the Art Walk route and in various galleries.
Sept. 10, 2010 5-8 pm. Event will be the second Friday of each month.

“Trace Elements” will be exhibited at the VAC gallery during this first Art Walk reception. Six regional photographers document the delicate interplay between nature and urban society. Photographers include: Jessica Mallios, victor Pagona, Jason Reed, Libby Rowe, Kent Rush, and Jason Urban.
The official opening of “Trace Elements” – part of FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA – is Monday, Sept. 20.
