The Tobin Hill Arts Alliance continues to attract more artists and venues to its popular art walk, held on the second Friday of each month. On October 8, 2010 San Antonio College (SAC) Visual Arts, Drama and Music Departments and the San Antonio Visual Artists (SAVA) are two of our newest venues exhibiting, performing and entertaining during the 6pm to 10pm art walk. Several galleries and art spaces located from SAC towards the intersection of North St. Mary’s Street and West Josephine will feature new paintings, ceramics and metal sculptured works by more than 40 of San Antonio’s most noted contemporary artists. SAC Drama Club will perform a flash mob dance scene (Time Warp) from Rocky Horror Picture Show at the N St Mary’s and Josephine Street triangle. Venues will provide refreshments and SAC musicians will perform live at various venues along the walk and look for special zombie performances. Admission is free and trolley (sponsored by venues) will begin at SAC at 6pm and make stops at venues!
