Boys and girls ages 9 - 13 who can sing soprano or alto are encouraged to come and try out. The choir is looking for singers who are willing to sing for civic, community, charity and military command events, are eager to learn music theory, ear training and performance technique, enjoy working for 1 and 1/2 hours twice weekly with monthly Saturday training, and are willing to work as a full team member in a close group.

Fiesta Noche del Rio

This marks the 55th season of Fiesta Noche del Rio – the longest-running outdoor musical revue of its kind in the U.S. The program will feature music from Spain, Argentina and some country favorites. 10th Roots Music Season Kickoff

The 10th season of the Roots Music concert series will feature top musical acts, many performing for the first time in Fredericksburg. The kickoff concert is a night of bluegrass and newgrass on with Tennessee Valley Authority, Sugar Bayou, and the Saltgrass Band. There will be dinner and drinks. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

Always…Patsy Cline

Always...Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. Having first heard Cline on the "Arthur Godfrey Show" in 1957, Seger became an immediate and avid fan of Cline's. In 1961 when Cline went to Houston for a show, Seger and her buddies arrived early and, by coincidence, met Cline who was traveling alone. The two women struck up a friendship that lasted until Cline's untimely death in a plane crash in 1963. The show runs through June 19.
